THE Keppel Group yesterday unveiled the masterplan of its 36.6-ha eco-development within the Sino- Singapore Tianjin Eco-City to Deputy Prime Minister Wong Kan Seng at its newly completed show gallery for Seasons Park.
Seasons Park, which comprises about 1,680 homes, will be the first collection of eco homes to be launched in the Keppel development, of which Keppel Corporation and Keppel Land will take up interests of 45 per cent and 55 per cent respectively.
The entire Keppel development, which will be launched in phases, is expected to yield about 5,000 homes in total as well as commercial developments including office and retail with a total gross floor area of about 680,000 sq m.
The Tianjin Eco-City is a major bilateral project between China and Singapore with private-sector investment and development. The Keppel group leads the Singapore Consortium in the 50:50 joint venture with the Chinese Consortium led by Tianjin Teda Investment Holding Co Ltd.
