There has been strong demand for the latest two Build-to-Order (BTO) projects in Punggol.
Figures from the Housing and Development Board’s website show there were six times more applicants than the number of units on offer at Punggol Waves and Punggol Emerald. And applicants are going for the bigger flats.
Up to 5pm yesterday, there were 4,648 applicants for the 609 four-room flats. The five-room units attracted 2,810 applicants.
Punggol Emerald and Punggol Waves will incorporate eco-friendly features to achieve energy efficiency, environmental protection and indoor environmental quality.
Precast construction methods will also be used to reduce waste and pollution. Applications for the two BTO projects closed yesterday.
