SINGAPORE - The Housing and Development Board (HDB) has launched two new build-to-order (BTO) projects in Jurong West and Yishun, offering a total of 1,050 flats.
Boon Lay Grove in Jurong West Avenue 2 will have 450 standard flats, comprising 300 units of 4-room and 150 units of 5-room flats.
A five-room flat in this estate will sell for $298,000 to $358,000.
The other project will be at Floral Spring@Yishun along Yishun Avenue 11. It will have 600 standard flats, comprising 96 units of studio apartments, 264 units of 4-room and 240 units of 5-room flats.
A five-room flat here will cost $289,000 to $332,000.
Applications for flats at Boon Lay Grove and Floral Spring@Yishun will close on May 19.
With Thursday's launch, HDB would have offered for sale to the public a total of 6,132 new BTO flats in the first five months of this year.
HDB plans to launch at least 12,000 new BTO flats by September 2010.
