Frasers Hospitality opens Fusionopolis property

FRASERS Hospitality, part of the Fraser & Neave group, opened its third property in Singapore yesterday.

The 50-unit, all-loft Fra-ser Place Fusionopolis brings the number of properties under management worldwide by Frasers Hospitality to 33.

This year alone, Frasers has opened four properties - in the UK, China, Thailand and Bahrain. With the opening of Fraser Place Fusionopolis, the company manages a total of 4,731 units in Europe, the Far East and Australia. By end-2009, five properties - or 647 units - are due to open in Budapest, Doha, Dubai, Kuala Lumpur and Shanghai.

Fraser Place Fusionopolis is the latest addition to JTC Corporation's work and lifestyle hub at Fusionopolis @ one-north, which provides a state-of-the-art environment for research and development and high-tech companies, as well as dining and entertainment options.

'The opening of Fraser Place Fusionopolis is very special from a corporate viewpoint for a number of reasons,' said Choe Peng Sum, chief executive of Frasers Hospitality.

'It is a homecoming - our first property launch here since the opening of Fraser Suites and Fraser Place in l998.'

The lofts are designed to complement the work-live-learn-play lifestyle of personnel at the 120,000 sq ft Fusionopolis, he said.
